Come celebrate a magical kirtan musical experience. Save The Cow Kirtan Mela is a three night, two-Day music festival at ISKCON New Talavan Farm Community in Carriere, Mississippi. The purpose of  this festival is bringing awareness to cow slaughter. Vegetarians, vegans, animal rights activists, and anyone who enjoys organic farming, healthy living, yoga, and meditation are sure to love this festival. You will have the opportunity to bond with friends, family and meet new people. We will be feasting, camping, swimming, dancing, exploring Mother Nature, and connecting with the Sacred Cow. It will be a Kirtan Music extravaganza!

In 2014 alone, there were reportedly 3.7 billion animals slaughtered in the US and the number is keep climbing. It is so heart breaking. At New Talavan it is our duty to protect the animals from cruelty, abuse and neglect. New Talavan farm in Mississippi is a 1200 acre farm where it isour missision to protect cows from slaughter. This organic farming community has the largest collection of saved cows and one of the biggest Adopt a Cow programs in this area. We invite you to support us in stopping animal cruelty.
